1. Find (3) three current , peer reviewed scholarly articles in your area of clinical interest OR clinical specialty that highlight or talk about a NURSE-LED (nurses are leading the project/program/ or initiative)–the initiative/project/program should have a FOCUS on improving health inequity in an underserved (e. g. vulnerable or low social determinant of health parameters) populations.
2. Write a 2 to 3 page paper (excluding title/reference pages, utilize APA formatting).
Include:
a. Discussion that describes the social and economic inequity/disparity in the selected area.
b. Discuss the KEY nurse advocacy strategies that were implemented.
c. Discuss how these nurse advocacy strategies helped to eliminate or mitigate the gaps in health inequity.
d. Discuss how or why these strategies led to health improvement for the population you selected
