Please see pages 2,3,7,8,10 that needs correction. I have put some comment at the side base of my instructor’s comment.
My instructor one biggest thing is to get more specific
Fix the Aim statement and the goal. It could just be one intervention
For example I will be doing an educational teaching with my collage (Please describe the setting which is a mental health outpatient clinic with psychiatrist and individual therapists and social worker), assess pre knowledge of what I am going to do and post knowledge -Let narrow the age group to 5 to 19yrs
The goal is to reduced frequent ER visit and hospitalization.
Let setting be limited to outpatient clinic, take out the primary care settings
What the educational training is, pre and post knowledge test and survey
Please use newer literatures and citations.
These below are some kids and are giver concerns in my day to day practice that create communication barrier increasing SI behavior
-I can’t talk to my mom because she will dismiss my feeling
-I don’t want to get my parent upset because they don’t understand
-I am scare to call the crisis hot line or 911 because I feel I will be taking away from my parents.
-Parents says, I don’t think she is suicidal, I think she wants attention
-Parents why is she suicidal when she has everything good going for her as a child
