i. Title: “Importance of Governability to the College”
(College of Registered Nurse of Alberta) – do not include name of college

ii. Be at least 750 words in length and typed.
iii. Demonstrate an understanding of the importance of governability to the college and following the direction of your college arising from hearing orders and resolution agreements:
iv. Include a specific analysis about how the failures to follow the directions, requirements and orders of the College are harmful to:
• The public (patient, families and communities)
• The reputation of the profession of nursing; and
• The Registrants own career

v. Demonstrate insight into why the conduct of the Registrant as outlined in the Agreement were unacceptable, citing specific Practice Standards and the Code of Ethics and
vi. Have a bibliography of at least four references ( no older than ten years old), one of which must be the Practice Standards, Code of Ethics and Entry Level Competencies and others of which must be from academic journals or textbooks.
