The second case study will focus on technology in healthcare. For this paper, the student will identify an improvement in healthcare as a result of technological advancement (preferably an advancement that has occurred in the past 12 months) and prepare a case study that will focus on the following areas:
– What is the technology
– What area of healthcare did this impact
– Is this new technology or updated technology
– Who benefited from this advancement
– What issues were raised as a result of this technology
This is a team project. All members of each assigned team are expected to participate equally in the creation and presentation of this assignment. This case study is a team assignment. ALL team members must equally contribute in order to receive a passing grade.
This case study will be prepared in PP format, including references. A reference page is required, and all information used by these references must be cited using in-text citations.
The grading rubric is listed below and should be referenced when conducting research and preparing your paper. Students are encouraged to present their potential topics prior to starting their research.
