This is my PICOT question:
In five years, what is the effect of targeted recruitment, retention, and promotion strategies (intervention) on increasing representation of nurses from minority populations (population) in the nursing workforce, improving cultural competence among NPs, and improving health outcomes (outcomes) for patients from minority populations who may receive culturally incompetent care (problem), compared to limited recruitment and retention efforts (comparison)? The target date of completion is 2028.
