Step 1: Develop a pitch for an interpersonal communication workshop
Workshop concept Write out a pitch targeted to the people in charge of your organization on the benefits of learning about interpersonal communication.
Be sure your pitch includes the following:
An explanation to your workplace audience what interpersonal communication is and why it is important.
Five key concepts from this class, how they relate to your workplace, and how learning about them will help the organization function better.
Two hypothetical scenarios that could take place in your workplace and how interpersonal communication knowledge and training would help (workplace conflict, stressful situations, etc.).
Be sure to connect your five concepts to your two scenarios and stress the end-benefits to the organization.
How you would deliver or facilitate the workshop. (Remember you’re leading this!)
Think about the different ways you have learned concepts in this course and what would be most effective for your organization.
