The profession and discipline of nursing has developed nursing’s metaparadim as including 4
main concepts: the environment, health, nursing, and person.
Although you may not have taken any courses yet in your master’s specialty area of FNP or
PMHNP, use a theory to practice approach to use this specialty area of practice to
answer these questions:
1) What do you think are the 4 most important concepts for that area of practice? (Such as advocacy, caring, etc).
2) How do you think these relate to each other? Please separate the references for 6A and 6B.
