To be able to advance health equity, nurses and nursing organizations must collaborate to establish an agenda that addresses social determinants of health. In this episode, nursing experts explain why a shared agenda is critical, how nurses and organizations can collaborate with each other to create this agenda, and how nurses can use their voices in nontraditional ways to create solutions that address health inequities.
Using the rubric, explain how you might use evidence based practice along with evidence based research to be effective in decreasing health equities within the population of patients you care for in your clinical setting.
