Do you think we are a “stranger to ourselves”? In other words, when we are asked to analyze ourselves, we can never fully tell the truth, because there are certain factors about ourselves or our relationships that we can’t verbalize. Thus, we talk about the more superficial aspects of ourselves. Along those same lines, does social media help you represent yourself authentically, or is it a superficial representation of who you are? In this way, does social media make us a “stranger to ourselves”? Give an example to explain your answer.
