A 40 year old white male pt, N.N., to ER with c/o fatigue, swollen lymph nodes, persistent cough without phlegm, dyspnea. Pt is 6 feet tall, 190lbs. After extensive study, via 6MWT, CT imaging, PFT, pt was told to have pulmonary and cardiac sarcoidosis.
VS: 98.7F, 88, 20, 146/90, 92%RA dropping to upper 80s with exertion; no pain
Meds: prednisone 10mg daily, methotrexate 7.5mg/d
Full code with older sister, Esther, as the durable power of attorney for healthcare. No one in family has been affected by the disease.
