In this assignment you will complete two tasks explained below. This is not a group assignment.

In order to obtain IRB approval for their research projects, researchers conducting research with human participants are commonly required to document that they have completed Human Subjects training. Below is the link for the United States Office for Human Research Protections (OHRP)’s recently released Human Subjects training.

Task 1: Please complete your training as explained below.

The training is entitled ” Human Research Protection Foundational Training”. There are four lessons you will be completing.

Lesson 1- When HHS Regulations Apply?
Lesson 2- What is Human Subjects Research?
Lesson 3- What are IRBs?
Lesson 4- IRB Review of Research

at the end of each lesson there will a certificate to receive. Please complete all 4 lessons by 11:59 pm on February 12th and submit all 4 of your certificates (i.e., 4 certificates, 1 per lesson).

Task 2: After you are done with the training, please answer the following questions in about 1 to two pages saved as a word document. Submit your word document to the assignment drop box on D2L by 11:59 pm February 12th.
