A Look into the Advantages and Disadvantages of the Idealists and Crafter
In this week’s dialogue, I will discuss the advantages and disadvantages associated with the Idealists and Crafter in me. I will also give a very brief synopsis of Extraversion and Conscientiousness, which are two of the Big Five personality categories. I will be taking a look at how they may relate to the Idealists.
Opposites attract, so the old adage says, the proverb which comes from voices of the young and old, also brings advantages for the Idealist and me, the Crafter. Two unusual companions but with like-minded views and talents. They are both passionate about their skilled performance of job duties and their own recreation. We share in the strong bonds of family and friends. And go above and beyond our capabilities to help in times of need.
A disadvantage of the Idealists is seen in their focus on what ifs, instead of, what is. Whereas the Crafter is more secure with their own personal self. With the Crafters concrete Artisan intelligence, they have a solid foundation. The Idealists lean more to being a dreamer.
Both the Idealists and Crafter could exhibit factors of the Extraversion personality factor. The ones that lean toward introverts are more reserved rather than being unfriendly. Looking at the Conscientiousness category of the Big Five personalities, the Idealists manifest more of the daredevil that possesses him with exploits of danger. The Crafter will need to reign in his vain lifestyle to build a working relationship with the Idealists.
