Prepare a 6-8 minute academic poster presentation of a health promotion/improvement//health
protection intervention, campaign or policy in a setting of your choice, which has a health inequalities
component and which YOU yourself will have developed. This cannot be an existing health
improvement intervention, campaign or policy.
You should cover the public health burden of the chosen topic (using epidemiological data).
You should cover the relevant health promotion/improvement theory, theories or models that your
intervention, campaign or policy makes use of.
You should present a set of health promotion/health protection activities you would recommend to
address both the health impacts and the health inequalities.
Make sure to also address how your intervention, campaign or policy will be evaluated.
A poster presentation is ONE slide only and has all the information on this single slide.
You will present your presentation live in no less than 6 minutes, and not more than 8 minutes.
