Read the questions below. Then watch the video and take notes about specific examples you observe for each of the questions. This response should be based on Lesson 3: Vygotsky’s Sociocultural Theory of Cognitive Development
Cite specific examples from your observations as evidence to support your claims and make clear connection to the theories. Be thorough in your coverage of the theories, addressing multiple concepts to demonstrate your understanding and using a wide variety of the vocabulary (see bolded words below) to support your response. Please underline or bold the vocabulary you use.

How does the teacher use shaping to teach students new skills? Be sure to include the role of reinforcement and successive approximations in that analysis. OR
How does the teacher incorporate modeling in that process? Include the characteristics of the models they choose and how well they incorporate the aspects of effective modeling (attention, retention, production, motivation).
