This page will include activities that you can engage in for additional credit points that will be added to your final grade. Some will include research (mainly online survey) participation (see below), and others will include minor activities that will trickle onto this page throughout the semester. Each one will be worth 1 extra credit point. Students are allowed up to 5 credit points in total.
Online Survey Participation
Below is a survey you could participate in. I am beginning with one that I am currently running, open to both citizens and residents of Qatar, aged 18 and above. To provide evidence of your participation, please take a screenshot of the last page of the survey, including a timestamp, so I can verify that with my records. Please note that all responses are kept strictly confidential and anonymous.

After completing it, please provide a brief (approximately 200 words) commentary. For example, what was your impression? Do you think the questions were relevant? Do you feel your responses captured the essence of your thoughts and experiences? Would you have liked to see other questions?
Take part in online research studies, provide proof of participation, along with a brief commentary (~200-300 words) for each study you took part in. These studies MUST be empirical and academic (i.e., “What Hogwarts House do You Belong In” wouldn’t count). The commentary could be about the methodology, the purpose, your results (not all studies provide you with a summary of your results immediately though), or perhaps a way to link it to something you studied (in this course or another).
