The discussion on Gender Dysphoria, The DSM-5 defines gender dysphoria in adolescents and adults as a marked incongruence between one’s experienced/expressed gender and their assigned gender, lasting at least 6 months, does our society see this as a mental illness why or why not. Would you offer treatment for this diagnosis and if so, what would that look like (what medication and what dose, therapy, etc.)? The research articles must be original research contributions (no review articles or meta-analysis) and must have been published within the last 5 years. The paper should be APA formatted, with at least 3 references, and be at least 3 pages…no longer than 5 pages.
