MEDICAID-DESIGN, EXPANSION & STATUS QUO
For this discussion, I would like to explore the states that have attempted to use new ideas to reform and redesign Medicaid in their state AND the outcome/impact of Medicaid expansion when added by a state AND impact felt if a state did not chose to expand Medicaid with the Affordable Care Act (ACA)
Please read about the topics, select two pertinent articles and share the URL of the article you have selected. The first article selection is about a state that has improved/redesigned their Medicaid program and the other article discusses a state who did/did not expand Medicaid as part of the Affordable Care Act and the outcome.

Many states have moved to a managed care model for Medicaid? Is this cost effective? Is it better for the health of the recipient?
