You will be developing a specialized registry/database for a disease entity described in one of the scenarios distributed or approved by the instructor.
This project is focused on gaining an understanding of data collection for specialized databases through journal readings, visits to an existing disease registry, and class discussions. It will also focus on identifying and defining data elements using healthcare data sets, data standards, and knowledge-based materials about the disease process.
