Topic: PICOT question: In patients with ACL tears (Partial & Non-partial tears) (P), how effective is physical therapy/rehabilitation (I) compared to surgical repair and intervention (C), for patients to achieve a fully stable functioning knee (O)?
Please write a literature review for the studies used for this paper. I have attached them below. Please add other studies/references that are within the last 5 years. There are five steps to critiquing the literature: 1. Classify the research and the variables. 2. Compare purposes and conclusions. 3. Describe the design and control elements. 4. Identify threats to validity. 5. Place the study in context of other research. The following are some guiding questions for the review of the literature: • Is there a purpose for each study reviewed that is directly relevant to the study? • Is primary literature emphasized and secondary literature, if used, used selectively? • Are recent developments in the solution to the problem emphasized in the review? • Are other studies critiqued not just report on? • Does the content include a mix of reporting of the facts and analysis, conclusions, and critique of the facts? • Is the relevance of each study to the problem being investigated explicit? • Are studies compared and contrasted, with conflicting or inconclusive results noted? • Do the reviewed studies collectively present an overall interpretation and understanding of what is known about the problem? • Do implications provide theoretical or empirical justification for the specific research questions or hypotheses to follow? • Do the methodological implications provide a rationale for the design of the current study? When writing Chapter 2, it should begin with an introductory paragraph that includes a descriiption of the topics that will be discussed in the review. The review should be organized by topic, with the relevant research being presented on each topic. A logical order should be followed, not a chronological one unless it is appropriate. The use of proper headings in this chapter is important because, depending on how in-depth the review is, there may sub-topics and sub-sub-topics, which call for the use of level three and four headings. (It is a good idea to make a full outline of this chapter before it is written. This will help in keeping the chapter well-organized and will save the writer a great deal of time by not having to move material around after it is written.) In writing the review, the researcher should be sure to 1) discuss the studies in the past tense, 2) clearly distinguish between his own opinions (critiques) and those of the authors of the studies being reviewed, and 3) qualify generalizations so they are not erroneously attributed to anyone. It is very important how previous studies are reported. The reviewer must choose his or her wording precisely so as not to mislead the reader.

Please add at least 2 or 3 additional references/studies that are within 5 years.
