Chapter 3 Forming a New Life

During the prenatal stages, incredible growth and development takes place.

1. What are two environmental maternal factors (negative or positive) that you feel most impact this critical period of development?

2. Suggest two (2) strategies to encourage a pregnant mom to reduce negative environmental maternal risk factors.
