This is your Portfolio Assignment addressing the course outcome: Evaluate the basic concepts of Health Information Technology (HIT) that are relevant to healthcare settings including EHR/EMR and other advancing forms of HIT.
You will be creating an interactive timeline based on your learning thus far.
1.Your timeline must have an engaging title.
2,Your timeline must be interactive.
3.You can include things like diagrams, links to full articles that you refer to in 4.your timeline or embedded videos that are relevant.
5.Your timeline must have at least 10 elements that support your timeline.
At least 8 of those items should be historical events that contributed to the advancement EHR/EMR.
6.Your timeline must have a mix of successes and challenges.
7.Your timeline must have at least 2 predictions based on your research.
Think back to your Critical Thinking Exercise and ask yourself where HIT and electronic medical records will look like in the next 3, 5 or 10 years. Find evidence to support your predictions.
