Select a nursing theorist of choice and research him/her. Include a summary of your research and how it correlates to the subject you are studying. Identify their key contribution to nursing and explain its importance in healthcare.

APA Format
MUST utilize credible data sources such as CINAHL, MEDLINE, Embase, ClinicalKey, The Cochrane Library.
Research paper must be 500 – 650 words.

All article sources must be cited by including them in reference sheet (separate).

I need to create a set of powerpoint slides (up to 7 slides, excluding the cover and references) on my developmental history. Instructions are: Introduce your own history of development in ONE selected aspect with a brief description. e.g., physical, cognitive, socioemotional, moral, or personality development. Then Elaborate your development in that particular aspect with incidents or experiences based on concepts, models, theories and research findings in life-span developmental psychology. Lastly, The incidents or experiences can be selected from infancy OR early childhood up to your current age.

Consider the “Four Topics Approach” (or Four Box method) to ethical decision-making on page 61, Table 2.1 in Butts (below). Apply this model to a challenging situation in your nursing career that required you to consider the ethical dimensions of the patient case and the role you played in providing care. Specifically apply and address the questions within each topic area as they pertain to your situation.
In your conclusion, discuss the impact of the Four Topics process. Did applying these principles shape your decision-making in any way? Does this seem like a valid process for you to apply in your practice? Your paper should be 1-2 pages. Adhere to APA formatting throughout, and cite any outside sources you may use.

OFF-LABEL DRUG USE IN PEDIATRICS
The unapproved use of approved drugs, also called off-label use, with children is quite common. This is because pediatric dosage guidelines are typically unavailable, since very few drugs have been specifically researched and tested with children.
When treating children, prescribers often adjust dosages approved for adults to accommodate a child’s weight. However, children are not just “smaller” adults. Adults and children process and respond to drugs differently in their absorption, distribution, metabolism, and excretion.
Children even respond differently during stages from infancy to adolescence. This poses potential safety concerns when prescribing drugs to pediatric patients. As an advanced practice nurse, you have to be aware of safety implications of the off-label use of drugs with this patient group.
To Prepare:
