  • Create a 6-8 slide presentation (with detailed speaker’s notes) on how you would select, foster collaboration among, and educate a team dedicated to solving a diversity issue.
    Scenario
Imagine that your boss Lynnette follows up with you in an email shortly after reading your views on leadership and collaboration:
    Hi,
Thanks for sending me your thoughts last week on the diversity issue at the clinic. Your next step is to select a team of professionals who can help you in this project and prepare an introduction of the project for a first meeting with them.
I want you to prepare a presentation to serve as a brief but substantive introduction for the first meeting with a group of 4–5 members who will participate on the committee tasked with addressing the diversity issue. Once I review more information about the proposed team I can help you with the recruitment. The presentation should be 5–7 minutes and use 6–8 slides with detailed speaker’s notes so I can understand your approach. Not a lot of time or space, so keep things pretty high level. Do the following:
Briefly outline the project goals and highlight 2–3 of the initial priorities to be addressed by the group. Also, explain why they are important.
Explain the composition of the team and why you chose them. Note that you will not know the exact individuals yet, but assume we will recruit the people with the desired qualities and characteristics you outline in the presentation. Consider the following:
Include a group of professionals you believe can help define the problem and ultimately make recommendations on how to address it.
Make sure each member is either trained in, sensitive to, or has experience with the concept of workplace diversity.
Give some thought to having some members from outside the organization.
Provide member profiles: their diversity, qualifications, experience, internal versus external, and so forth.
Explain your role and describe how the committee will work together and achieve effective interprofessional collaboration.
Describe how the group will communicate. How and when they will meet.
Describe how ideas will be shared and decisions made.
Describe roles, group function, and structure.
Describe the basic characteristics of a diverse workplace.
Provide a convincing argument regarding the benefits of a diverse workforce using support from current research.
    Thanks,
    Lynnette
    Instructions
    For this assessment:
Create a 6–8 slide PowerPoint presentation in response to the content defined in the above scenario.
Create an audio recording (5–7 minutes) of the PowerPoint presentation using Kaltura or similar software.
    Presentation Guidelines
Your assessment should also meet the following requirements:
Length: 6–8 PowerPoint slides (not including title slide) that would accompany a 5–7 minute oral presentation.
Notes: Prepare detailed speaker’s notes describing items on each slide so that the viewer can accurately interpret the deeper meanings and intentions that would have been conveyed orally. Support your claims, arguments, and conclusions with credible evidence from 2–3 current, scholarly or professional sources.
Visuals: Create visuals that are easily read and interpreted. Use colors, fonts, and formatting and other design principles that make the information clear and generally add to the aesthetic of the presentation.
Please refer to the scoring guide for details on how your assessment will be evaluated.

Cell division happens when a parent cell divides into two or more cells called daughter cells. Cell division usually occurs as part of a larger cell cycle. All cells reproduce by splitting into two, where each parental cell gives rise to two daughter cells.
These newly formed daughter cells could themselves divide and grow, giving rise to a new cell population that is formed by the division and growth of a single parental cell and its descendant.
In other words, such cycles of growth and division allow a single cell to form a structure consisting of millions of cells.

Identify positive and negative workplace behaviors you have witnessed within your nursing practice.
Explain potential solutions to address negative behaviors
    ANSWER
    Positive Workplace Behaviors in Nursing
Here are some positive workplace behaviors that I have witnessed within my nursing practice:
Collaboration: Nurses often work collaboratively with other members of the healthcare team, such as physicians, pharmacists, and respiratory therapists. This collaboration is essential for providing high-quality care to patients.
Compassion: Nurses are known for their compassion and empathy for patients. They strive to provide care that is patient-centered and holistic.
Advocacy: Nurses advocate for their patients and ensure that their needs are met. They may also advocate for changes to policies and procedures that would benefit patients.
Professionalism: Nurses are professional in their interactions with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals. They maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of their patients.
    Negative Workplace Behaviors in Nursing
Here are some negative workplace behaviors that I have witnessed within my nursing practice:
Gossiping: Gossiping can create a toxic work environment and damage relationships between colleagues.
Bullying: Bullying can include verbal abuse, intimidation, and social exclusion. It can have a devastating impact on the victim’s mental health and well-being.
Incivility: Incivility includes rude and disrespectful behavior towards colleagues and patients. It can create a hostile work environment and lead to decreased productivity and patient satisfaction.
Poor communication: Poor communication can lead to errors in patient care and conflict between colleagues.
Potential Solutions to Address Negative Behaviors
Here are some potential solutions to address negative behaviors in the workplace:
Education and training: Nurses should be educated about the importance of positive workplace behaviors and the consequences of negative behaviors. This education should be provided during initial training and as ongoing professional development.
Policies and procedures: Healthcare organizations should have policies and procedures in place to address negative behaviors in the workplace. These policies should be clear and concise, and they should be enforced consistently.
Open communication: Healthcare organizations should encourage open and honest communication among nurses. This communication should be encouraged at all levels, from the individual nurse to the executive team.
Support for victims: Healthcare organizations should provide support for victims of negative behaviors. This support may include counseling, resources, and assistance with reporting the behavior.
In addition to the above solutions, it is also important to create a positive workplace culture. This can be done by promoting teamwork, collaboration, and respect. Healthcare organizations should also provide nurses with opportunities for professional development and advancement. When nurses feel supported and valued, they are less likely to engage in negative behaviors.
It is also important to note that negative behaviors are not always intentional. Sometimes, nurses may engage in negative behaviors due to stress, fatigue, or lack of resources. It is important to be understanding and compassionate in these situations. However, it is also important to hold nurses accountable for their behavior and to take steps to address the underlying causes.

please comment to each post and ask each one a question
Introduction Environmental factors and their impact on health are highly relevant today. With increasing concerns about climate change, pollution, and the sustainability of our planet, there is a growing recognition of the profound effects of our environment on our physical and mental well-being. The lack of awareness and understanding of the intricate relationship between environmental factors and human health hinders effective action from addressing the adverse impacts, jeopardizing the well-being of individuals and communities.
Level 1 science question: How does environmental sustainability promote human health and prevent disease? Level 2 science question: What are the specific health risks associated with exposure to different types of environmental pollutants, such as heavy metals, pesticides, or asbestos?
Level 1 math question: what is the correlation between air pollution levels and respiratory disease rates? Level 2 math question: What are the economic benefits of implementing measures to reduce pollution, taking into account the potential reduction in healthcare costs associated with diseases? What I found difficult about my topic is that since it is too broad, I am having a tough time choosing which topics to research.
    Introduction
    Background Information
Stress among nurses is a critical issue affecting the current healthcare system. This issue affects the quality of outcomes achieved by nurses, patients, and healthcare organizations (Sarazine et al., 2021). Although nurses are at the forefront of healthcare delivery, most receive little support whenever they face stress associated with their profession. This study provides a scientific inquiry into the risk factors and implications of stress and recommends measures to improve the quality of life of nurses.
    Research Questions
Level 1 Research Question: What are the stress risk factors among nurses?
Level 2 Research Question: What are the implications of stress on the individual and professional lives of nurses?
    MethodologyData Collection
The study applied quantitative and qualitative data to examine the stress risk factors among nurses. The researchers held interviews and focus group sessions with registered nurses and managers to collect qualitative data on what they believed to be the contributing factors of stress. Surveys and questionnaires also helped collect quantitative data on these factors in a sample of nurses.
    Data Analysis
The researcher used thematic analysis to derive themes within the qualitative data. For the quantitative data, descriptive and inferential statistical tests such as chi-square and regression helped quantify intensity and stress patterns. They also shed light on the correlation between stress and variables such as shifts and workplace environment.
    Findings and Discussion
The analysis revealed several risk factors for stress among nurses. The factors are heavy workload, work-life imbalance, role ambiguity, workplace bullying and incivility, poor professional development, organizational limitations, emotional challenges, staffing shortage, and lack of autonomy (Maharaj, Lees, & Lal, 2018). The analysis also showed that stress predisposes nurses to physical health disorders, mental health issues, reduced performance, poor interpersonal relationships, and increased turnover.
    Conclusion
In summary, stress is a serious concern that affects nurses in contemporary healthcare. Healthcare organizations should partner to address the risk factors of stress. They should provide nurses with a conducive working environment and social and mental support services. Taking this initiative can help the well-being and hence the quality of outcomes of nurses.
    Challenges and New Learning
I faced several challenges when completing this assignment, such as obtaining the sample, ensuring data accuracy, and adhering to all ethical considerations. The process of developing research questions and writing an inquiry paper has taught me the value of posing specific, well-defined questions to guide one’s inquiry. I now understand that scientific research has many facets and that qualitative and quantitative methods have their uses. Further, I have realized the value of offering evidence-based answers to the research topic and thinking through their practical ramifications. The following are some questions I would like my peers to address:
What interventions exist in the healthcare system to address stress among nurses?
What is the impact of organizational culture on stress?
What obstacles undermine organizational efforts to address stress among nurses?
Can technological advancements help reduce stress among nurses?
How can nurses use self-care to reduce nurses and improve their quality of life
