Using this week’s reading and at least one additional academic resource, discuss some of the psychosocial, cultural, and environmental challenges that occur within at least two stages of development. Choose from: early childhood, middle childhood, and/or adolescence. Be sure your discussion includes the following elements:
    <
    <
Explain why at least one psychosocial, one cultural, and one environmental factor (at each stage) is important for professionals to consider in the context of early life development.
    <
Explain at least two interventions that may be utilized to address psychosocial and environmental challenges in one of the identified stages.
    <
Complete your discussion by applying one of the psychosocial and environmental challenges to your specialization or area of professional interest. How might a person you work with in the future be affected by a psychosocial or environmental challenge that occurred during early childhood, middle childhood, and/or adolescence? What are some of the key cultural considerations that may impact the development of persons you work with in the future as well?
    <
    <
After completing your discussion, respond to at least two of your peers. Include any suggestions you might have of how future clients could be affected by psychosocial or environmental challenges. Add any additional questions you might have along with supportive academic resources.

For this paper, you will use the material from Chapter 7 of Hocker et al., from Dr. Fleming’s video, and from outside academic sources to analyze a troubled system in which you are personally involved. This may be a family system, a workplace system, a church system, a community system, etc. Do not attempt to perform this analysis with a system in which you are not a member. Your analysis should thoroughly respond to the following prompts (adapted from Hocker et al.). Be sure to use descriiptive language in all sections.
    Introduction
    Brief overview of the system
What type of system is this?
Who are the people involved? (You may change their names if you wish.)
What labels have these individuals have been given in the system?
    Rules
What are the overt (explicit) and covert (implicit) rules within the system? These should be general system rules as well as any specific rules that relate to conflict.
How do these rules (general and conflict rules) help to maintain the system?
    Patterns
What patterns of general behavior exist within the system?
What patterns of conflict exist within the system?
How do these patterns (both general and conflict) help to maintain the system?
    Triangulation & Coalition
What triangles exist within the system?
    How did these triangles develop?
Which of these triangles are toxic and why?
Using the examples from Hocker et al. on pp. 238-241, create a similar visual illustration of the triangles within the system, including power, coalitions (allies), and isolates. Remember that an individual may be a part of more than one triangle and that more than one person may be on one side of a triangle.
    Change
What are some examples of first-order change that have been made within the system?
Why did these changes not influence the entire system?
What are some examples of possible second-order change that could affect the entire system?
    Self-reflection
How has this system affected your personal wellbeing?
How have you previously tried to bring about second-order change within the system?
What effect have your efforts had?
In your opinion, why were they successful or unsuccessful?
If you have not attempted to make second-order change yourself, discuss some examples of possible second-order change that could be made by someone else that would change the system.
What are three changes that you can make yourself that would either increase your personal sense of wellbeing or help bring about second-order change within the system? Any changes should be ones that you have the power to make yourself and should not be focused on changing someone else within the system.

  • A descriiptive or direct assessment is sometimes included in the FBA. Conducting

A descriiptive or direct assessment is sometimes included in the FBA. Conducting the descriiptive assessment requires you to observe the target behaviors and measure baseline data of the behaviors. When you provide the operational definitions and baseline data, you are exemplifying the descriiption level of scientific investigation. A descriiptive assessment often encompasses identification of patterns of behavior co-occurring with stimulus changes in the environment. This level of scientific rigor is referred to as prediction.
For this assignment, you will conduct repeated observations of the person or character you chose in your first assignment. As part of your observation, you will quantify the target behaviors and take antecedent-behavior-consequence (ABC) data. You will analyze your ABC data to conclude the environmental events co-occurring with the concerning behaviors. To conclude the descriiptive assessment, you will provide the hypothesized function(s) or environmental contingencies influencing problem behaviors. Be sure to incorporate values of compassion and cultural humility when choosing measurement procedures and conducting the descriiptive assessment.
Part 1: Benefits and Limitations of a Descriiptive Assessment
Provide a brief overview of what a descriiptive assessment is, including the benefits and limitations. Describe the level(s) of scientific rigor exemplified in a descriiptive assessment.
    Part 2: Obtaining Baseline Data
Using information gathered from your indirect assessment, select appropriate measurement procedures to obtain baseline data for your target definitions. Take baseline data of the concerning behaviors and provide visual display of your data.
Part 3: Collect and Analyze ABC Data
Conduct a minimum of five observations informed by your indirect assessment and take ABC data. Analyze the ABC data by conducting a contingency analysis and/or space contingency analysis. Provide a visual display of your data. Provide an interpretation of your visual display.
Part 4: Conclusion of the Descriiptive Assessment
Conclude the descriiptive assessment by providing the hypothesized function(s) or environmental contingencies influencing problem behaviors. Remember, you are not able to control the behavior. You are only able to make predictions.
    Additional Requirements
Your assignment should meet the following requirements:
Written communication: Should be free of errors that detract from the overall message.
APA formatting: References and citations are formatted according to current APA style guidelines. Review Evidence and APA for more information on how to cite your sources.
Resources: A sufficient number of scholarly or professional resources.
please try to avoid direct quotes form sources used.

horoughly read the assigned article and write a summary of the article, including:
    1) What was the research about? What question(s) was the author(s) trying to answer?
    2) Who did the researchers study (i.e. who were the participants in the study)?
    3) How was the research carried out?
    4) What did the researchers find/conclude?
    5) Do you have any criticisms of the research or did you find anything confusing or misleading in the paper?
    6) What did you find most interesting about this article?
Write the summary in paragraph format. It should be approximately one-page, double-spaced, 12-point font, Times New Roman.
Make sure to summarize the article in your own words as much as possible to avoid plagiarism..

which you will be asked to write a 1 pg., single-spaced, 12 pt., Times New Roman font, with 1” margins, critique of each article, either in APA format (preferred in psychology) or MLA format. No title page or reference list is required, however, any outside sources (articles, book chapters, talks, or presentations) should be properly cited in text.
The first paragraph should address the concepts and ideas the researchers are interested in and should articulate the research questions being addressed, while the second paragraph should detail the methods, results, and conclusions drawn by the researchers and the third paragraph should provide a critique (i.e., identify potential limitations and confounds) or evaluation of the strength of the argument the researchers are making. This assignment must be in your own words and should address important points of a scientific argument, such as, but not limited to, the appropriateness and falsifiability of the research questions, operationalization of concepts, appropriateness of research methods, the validity and reliability of the results, possible limitations or confounds of the study, or the appropriateness of the researchers’ conclusions (are their conclusions believable?). This will be challenging and will accurately convey the comprehension of course concepts as well as provides yet another forum for your voices to be heard through your ideas and critiques.
