Ready to think about testing another hypothesis? Here you go: imagine you have been asked to come up with a way to test the hypothesis that “Men wearing ties are perceived to be more competent than men not wearing ties.” (PLEASE NOTE: in reality, as far as your instructor knows, there is no evidence for that.)
