    Response/Analysis
    Name of Article
    Your Name
    Psy 223 Developmental Psychology
    Date
    • Title page should be just one page. Adjust your spacing to accomplish this. See page 3 of these instructions for an example of the title page.
    2. Prepare the document
    • Use one-inch margins for all four sides of the document. All pages must be typed using Times New Roman font with a font size of 12. Each page should be double-spaced on only one side of the paper and justified (aligned) on the left margin. Remember to begin a new paragraph with an indent and to begin new paragraphs appropriately.
    3. Sections
    • It is recommended that students read through all of the questions before beginning to answer the first. That might prevent overlapping content from one question to the next.
    • Include three sections in the body of the paper. Label each section at the upper left margin, bold face type (1 blank line) after the heading and double space the text.
    Content Application:
    • Number and type each question followed by your response in the order listed. Prepare your response to completely answer all parts of the question(s) using complete sentences, correct grammar and refer to Rubric Grading explanation.
    Critical Thinking:
    • Students are to use the library resources to find a current peer-reviewed article regarding social media use in a different developmental stage other than middle childhood. Journal articles may be found using Ebscohost (APA Psych Info, or Psychology and Behavioral Sciences Collection) or ProQuest: Social Sciences and should have been published in the last 10 years. Resources are posted on the West Kentucky Library libguide page:
    https://westkentucky-kctcs.libguides.com/az.php?a=p
    Analysis:
    • Follow the same directions as above.
    4. Additional Instructions:
The body of the assignment should be three to four typed double-spaced pages. The title page does not count for the text body.
Cite all references using APA guidelines. The Reference page should include the assigned article and any other sources you use for your paper.
    Submit paper to Blackboard.
Pages 3 and 4 of these instructions illustrate what your title page and body of paper should look like. The questions are included on page 4.

You have been chosen to develop a training model for a local company that recently faced a large negative public relations disaster.
An example of a negative public relations disaster is Tesla’s unveiling of a “bulletproof” cybertruck, or the Pepsi and Kendall Jenner advertisement, to name a few.
Consider the topics and models covered in the 4Cs of peacemaking, social exchange theory, and social norms.
Create a 12- to 19-slide PowerPoint presentation with detailed written speaker notes in the notes section of each slide that provides the organization with scenarios that would help them to identify how to overcome the negative situation. A typical business proposal should include the following elements: overview, objective, opportunity, solution, rationale, approach, and deliverables.
Address the following in your proposal presentation:
    • (1 slide) Introduction
    • (1-2 slides) Provide a brief background on the organization.
    • (2-3 slides) Briefly describe the negative public relations disaster.
    • (4-6 slides) What are the specific elements within each of the 4Cs that will overcome the negative publicity?
    • (3-6 slides)How can you use the concepts of social norms, reciprocity norm, and social responsibility norm to assist you in overcoming the situation?
    • (1slide) References

Shapiro Ch. 14: Psychopharmacology, recreational drugs, tolerance, and sensitization
Are e-cigarettes a safer alternative to tobacco cigarettes? Why or why not? Should there be regulations about marketing e-cigarettes to kids?
Why are alcohol and tobacco products legal if they have the potential of being dangerous and even deadly?
There is evidence that some big pharmaceutical companies misrepresented the potential problems of prescription opioid painkillers to increase their profits. What steps could be taken in the future to keep this from happening again?
What are the good and bad outcomes of decriminalizing all drugs?
Should recreational marijuana be made legal in all states? Should there be age restrictions on the legal availability of marijuana? Explain.
Should the moral hazard problem be considered when making naloxone more readily available? Explain.
Would you like to receive training and carry naloxone? Why or why not? Would you be part of a contact network on a smartphone app such as OD Help?
Shapiro Ch. 15: Addiction, developmental disorders, and affective disorders
In what ways are the disorders discussed in this chapter stigmatized in society? What would be ways to reduce these stigmas?
Are there some advantages in relation to neuropsychiatric disorders for individuals or society? For example, there have been some great scientists, inventors, and artists with depression, bipolar disorder, and autism. Or do you think that the link between mental illness and creativity is exaggerated? Explain.
Should researchers continue testing psychedelics and other illegal drugs for their possible role in the treatment of depression, PTSD, substance abuse, or anxiety? Why or why not? What do you think are potential problems with these lines of research?
Do you have a phobia that you are willing to discuss? Does your phobia have a name (see http://phobialist.com/)? How do you think you developed this phobia?
Shapiro Ch. 16: Other neuropsychiatric disorders, brain injuries, and brain pathologies
Are there differences between the way people with neuropsychiatric disorders are treated in our society compared to people with other medical problems such as heart disease or cancer? What promotes these differences, and how should things change in the future? Explain.
What changes in treatment for neuropsychiatric disorder might we see in the next 30 years? What forms of treatment provided today do you think you need the most improvement, and why?

use critical thinking in this posts. Use evidence from credible and reliable sources online to provide support for your opinions. Use APA format to cite them at the end of your post if you do so.

How did the geographical challenges along the silk road impact the types of goods trader and the methods of transportation used

    ANSWER
The geographical challenges along the Silk Road had a significant impact on the types of goods traded and the methods of transportation used.

    **Types of goods traded**

The Silk Road was a network of trade routes that connected China with Europe and the Middle East. It was active for over 1,500 years, and during that time, a wide variety of goods were traded along the route.

Some of the most common goods traded on the Silk Road included:

    * **Silk:** Silk was one of the most prized commodities on the Silk Road. It was produced in China and traded throughout the world.
[Image of Silk traded on the Silk Road]
    * **Spices:** Spices were also highly sought-after commodities on the Silk Road. They were used for cooking, medicine, and perfumes.
[Image of Spices traded on the Silk Road]
    * **Tea:** Tea was another popular item traded on the Silk Road. It was first cultivated in China and eventually spread to other parts of the world.

    * **Porcelain:** Porcelain was a high-quality ceramic product that was produced in China and traded throughout the world.
[Image of Porcelain traded on the Silk Road]
    * **Gold and silver:** Gold and silver were also traded on the Silk Road, but they were more valuable and less common than other goods.

    **Methods of transportation**

The geographical challenges along the Silk Road meant that merchants had to be creative in their transportation methods. Some of the most common methods of transportation used on the Silk Road included:

    * **Caravans:** Caravans were groups of camels that were used to transport goods over long distances.
[Image of Caravans used on the Silk Road]
    * **Ships:** Ships were used to transport goods along rivers and oceans.
[Image of Ships used on the Silk Road]
    * **Horses:** Horses were used to transport goods over shorter distances.
[Image of Horses used on the Silk Road]
    * **Human porters:** Human porters were used to transport goods over very short distances, such as through mountain passes.

The type of transportation used depended on a number of factors, including the distance to be traveled, the weight and fragility of the goods, and the terrain. For example, caravans were often used to transport goods over long distances and through harsh terrain, while ships were used to transport goods over water.

    **Impact of geographical challenges**

The geographical challenges along the Silk Road had a number of impacts on the types of goods traded and the methods of transportation used. For example:

    * **Heavy and fragile goods were less likely to be traded:** The long distances and harsh terrain of the Silk Road made it difficult to transport heavy and fragile goods. As a result, merchants were more likely to trade lightweight and durable goods.
    * **Trade in spices and silk was particularly lucrative:** Spices and silk were lightweight and durable goods that were in high demand in Europe and the Middle East. As a result, merchants made a lot of money trading these goods on the Silk Road.
    * **Trade routes were often established along rivers and oceans:** Rivers and oceans provided a more efficient and less treacherous way to transport goods than land routes. As a result, many of the trade routes on the Silk Road followed rivers and oceans.

Overall, the geographical challenges along the Silk Road had a significant impact on the types of goods traded and the methods of transportation used. However, merchants were able to overcome these challenges by being creative and resourceful.
