The executive board has hired you to facilitate a cultural change in order to give the organization a clear direction, reduce conflict, and increase employee morale and productivity. Create a 13-15 slide PowerPoint that outlines your plan to facilitate this cultural change. This should be a professional presentation to be delivered to the executive board. Include speaker notes of 150-200 words for each slide. Title and reference slides are not included in the total slide count. Address the following in your presentation:
What factors of group dynamics in the scenario above are occurring? Explain how each factor is affecting group performance. What are the elements that are contributing to this company’s group conflict?
Consider the current climate in the organization and develop a strategy for employees to address and resolve conflict. What resources will you make available to them? When does conflict need to be escalated to the manager, human resources, EAP (Employee Assistance Program), or civil rights advocate?
How can you use organizational culture and employee empowerment to encourage acceptance and change?
What organizational change process (theory) would you suggest bringing about the desired results?
Who is in charge of leading the change?
How will you gain commitment at all levels of the organization? How will you deal with noncompliance or resistance?
How would you take disciplinary action within this situation?
What are some possible concerns of discrimination or adverse impact?

Week 4 Topic:
“ETHICS AND LEGAL ISSUES”
What are some of the legal issues faced by counselors? Find a good example of an ethical case in a journal article or web article.
How should one prepare to respond to these issues? There are some examples of ethical dilemmas in this week’s movie moments and in chapter 14 of the textbook. Use the Code of Ethics Links (which are located under (Week 4) to provide support to your post as you think through the correct ethical choices Respond to two peers peeers 1.
. Ashtyn Kelley ethical concernsCOLLAPSE
I foresee one of the biggest ethical issues for me, even in the line of work that I do, is when to break confidentiality. Now I know the textbook answer on when you can and can’t break confidentiality, but I worry that I am misinterpreting the situation. As a crisis counselor for 988, the national suicide prevention line, I talk to people all the time who are currently in a state of crisis. Now regardless of how significant, or insignificant, that problem may seem to me, I have to gauge the intent, desire, and means that this stranger has to potentially harm themselves or others. Now I know, all I can do is my best with the information that I have, but my biggest fear is that I will judge the situation so poorly that it hurts the caller in some way rather than help them. The legal issues in counseling can look like a variety of different situations some of which may directly violate your own ethical values. Legal issues can be criminal activity involving a minor child, sexual misconduct, breach of confidentiality, suicide, violation of civil rights, etc. (Kottler 2015). In the job field I have chosen I have been told that the more experience you have the more accurate your judgments and “gut feelings” become, but when it comes to someone’s life I think you can never be too careful. I have learned to trust myself and the training that I have received, and I am always learning new information so I can always be the best version of myself. Ethical issues can be challenging to deal with, and it may be “the easy” thing to look the other way, but I’ve learned to always ask the hard, or serious, questions and it has helped me be an effective crisis counselor.WC:317Avasthi, A., Grover, S., & Nischal, A. (2015). Introduction to counseling: Voices from the field. (8th ed.). Peer 2 1 day agoVezian Panan COLLAPSE There are several ethical issues surrounding counselors. As this is fairly new territory due to the lack of a road map or proper guidance as to what is acceptable in a situation of confidentiality. As the text states, your first client is a 16-year-old boy involved in criminal activity with the possibility of being abused at home. This situation is possible in any counseling session. As a counselor you are unsure of whether to inform the parents of his doings or report abuse to social services. The duty of a counselor is for the well-being of the client, in this case the 16-year-old boy. In this situation both the parents and possibly social services need to be contacted but there will be a breach in confidentiality. Every client has their own personalized process of handling similar situations. There are also rules and laws that can be followed. The consultation of an experienced practitioner should be seeked in an event where there can be conflicting outcomes. In a situation as such, as counselor it is important to analyze the information given by the client. Differentiating the truth can be timely and difficult. However, the client’s safety and well-being are important. If the client does say they are in a situation where help is needed, then it is ethical to report the information to the right authorities; this is done with the client’s consent. Without the client’s consent, reporting the information can easily break trust in the relationship and instill fear to the client. The possibility of the client being placed in more danger should be considered. Each state and place of practice has their own rules and regulations as to what can be reported and what is confidential. In many cases it is left to the counselor to decide. As always, when uncertain seek advice of those who have more experience. Confidentially is very important between client and counselor. This is the initial step in building a healthy and trusting relationship when someone seeks guidance and help with issues, they may not even be aware of.Word Count: 345Reference:American Psychological Association (2002) Reporting past abuse, Part II https://www.apa.org/monitor/julaug02/ethicsKottler, A. & Shepard, D. Think of a movie, TV show, book, or another fictional portrayal that depicts psychotherapy or a related activity. Alternatively, you may think of a real-life psychotherapy (or related) situation you have heard about or been involved with in any capacity that involves a potential ethical dilemma. If you use a real-life situation, be sure to avoid information that identifies someone or violates confidentiality.

Wk 5 – Summative Assessment: Personality and Social Issues Related to Technology [due Mon]
Exam ContentAfter learning about technology-related social problems at other companies, leadership has tasked you with publishing policy related to use of the technology resources provided to employees. Problems of this nature have not come to the attention of compliance or leadership. Knowing that this does not necessarily mean that there is no questionable behavior leading to legal consequences, you recommend that policy be proactive but motivational rather than punitive.
You agree that the consequences must be communicated, but you recommend that this is done by including descriptions of the impacts misuse and abuse can cause employees and their teams.
Leadership would like to see a publish of your recommendation. You concentrate on one potential problem by writing the following:
Research a technology-mediated social issue related to one of the following:
online bullying
social media interactions
online communications
online purchases
online scams
adolescent use of social media and text messaging
online dating sites and apps
online gamingWrite a 1,400- to 1,750-word proposal for a solution to this social issue by applying either the social cognitive (Bandura) or cognitive social learning (Rotter & Mischel) personality theories to explain human behavior related to the issue.
Outline your proposed policy including:
Explain the problem.
How it is a social problem that impacts the workplace?
How has technology worsened this human problem?
Summarize the social cognitive or social learning theory concepts to help explain this behavior.
Based on the theory you chose, propose a solution for this issue.
Outline the negative impacts behaviors have on:

Discussion 5 | Applying Methodology
Number of replies: 3REVIEW
Applying the methodologies you’ve learned about is the goal of the next assignments, and this step can be quite challenging. A key to being successful in this class is not just summarizing methodologies, but demonstrating your ability to put them into practice. Two key areas that can be particularly challenging are identifying the data collection tool you’re recommending and the analysis methodology.
For tools, these can be interviews, surveys, questionnaires, tests, observations, and other approaches. You cannot just name a tool without details and justification or that you’ll just make one. For an established tool, you need to cite its development and validation and explain why it is useful. For a tool you’ll develop, you need to explain how it will be developed and validated.
For analysis methodology, you need to provide strong details on how the analysis will actually occur. Remember, this is a research methods course, so methods are critical. For qualitative, you need to explain and justify the coding methodology. For quantitative, you’ll need to identify and justify the specific inferential statistic(s) appropriate for the data you’re collecting and to answer your research question. Graphs, tables, and charts are visualizations and not analysis methods.
Do not forget the resources in your textbook for more details on all of these.
RESPOND
What are the data tools you plan to propose? How were they developed/validated? Why are they best for your project?
What is the analysis methodology you plan to propose? Why is this the best approach for your project?

Psychologists have found that human memory involves three processes: encoding information into memory, storing information in memory, and retrieving information from memory. Psychologists have also identified specific strategies to help people encode, store, and retrieve information. How can this research help you study for this class more efficiently? What strategies could help you encode and store information in your memory as you study? What strategies could help you retrieve this information when you take a test?
In a short essay, describe how you could use specific memory strategies to improve your study skills. Be sure to explain how each strategy will improve how you encode, store, or retrieve information in memory. Include details from class materials, readings, and research on memory to support your discussion. Make sure to include a reference page. -
