    families are usually the overlooked victims. Quietly they feel and view the family imploring because of the ramifications and destructions experienced throughout these processes. I have included a pdf that touches on this very same topic.
    Read the article and write a four-page; this should include two additional references to help supplement your research. Remember to use the APA format moving forward.

    Senses Challenge Activity
    This week you read about our senses and how we can use our senses to understand and interpret the world around us. In this activity, you will complete one of two options listed below that challenges your senses. There are two options below, please choose one and submit your final paper as a Word Document. Option A:
    Please visit the website: http://www.illusions.org/dp/1-2.htm
    This page is full of fascinating illusions (scroll to the bottom of the webpage for a complete list). Please find an illusion that interests you.
    You need to tell me which illusion you selected (please provide the link for the illusion you selected) and use the explanation to put in your own words why your brain sees this differently than it actually appears. Please incorporate THREE vocabulary terms (define and then apply) from chapter 3 in your explanation. Your explanations needs to be one page in length for the illusion you have selected.
    Option B:
    In many movies from the 1930s, dancers performed seemingly meaningless movement which, when viewed from above, were transformed into intricate patterns and designs. Similarly, the formations of marching bands often create pictures and spell words. Identify and describe at least four Gestalt principles of grouping that explain the audience’s perception of the images created by these types of formations. Be sure to define and then apply the terms in your response. Your response should be one page in length. APA format

    Select a topic or issue related to your course or area of interest. Ensure it’s a subject that allows for meaningful discussion and exploration. Use the bullet points in the Introduction above to prime the pump of inspiration: Do you need to do some problem-solving? Make a difficult decision? Help mediate a conflict? Do some reflective soul-searching? Just explore a puzzling topic?
    *Step 2: Identify Key Questions
    Develop a series of open-ended questions related to your chosen topic. These questions should provoke critical thinking and invite diverse viewpoints. They will serve as the foundation of your dialogue. An open-ended question is one that cannot be answered by a simple Yes, or No. Open-ended questions generally lead to more questions.
    *Step 3: Define Characters
    Create distinct characters or personas who will participate in the dialogue. Each character should have a unique perspective, background, and set of beliefs related to the topic. Like you did last week with your inner dialogue of Voice #1 and Voice #2, create two or more personas to participate in the dialogue or conversation.
    *Step 4: Set the Scene
    Establish the context in which the dialogue takes place. Describe the setting, the relationship between the characters, and any relevant background information. This helps readers understand the context of the discussion. This could be a real-life setting and a real situation where you obscure the identities of those involved for the sake of privacy.
    *Step 5: Begin the Dialogue
    Start the dialogue with one character posing an open-ended question related to the topic. Use this question as a catalyst for the discussion. Remember that Socratic dialogues are typically written in a conversational style.
    *Step 6: Engage in Discussion
    Inside the dialogue, be sure that your characters engage in the Socratic Method by doing the following:
    a) show they have listened to each other by summarizing the prior speaker’s argument;
    b) ask them to clarify or expand on any point that was confusing or just seems wrong or weak;
    c) ask them to provide evidence and/or reasons for their viewpoint;
    d) point out faulty assumptions, prejudices, or emotional biases you see in their statements, or just other interpretations of the evidence;
    e) finally, get them to restate their position to see if they have deepened or shifted their perspective.
    *Step 7: Show What You’ve Learned
    Create tension and conflict within the dialogue to stimulate critical thinking. Characters may disagree, question each other’s ideas, and explore different perspectives. Aim for a satisfying resolution or conclusion that doesn’t necessarily provide all the answers but prompts further reflection. Conclude the dialogue by having the characters reflect on what they’ve discussed. They can acknowledge areas of agreement, express any lingering questions or uncertainties, or summarize the main points of the conversation.

    There are 2 tasks to complete for this assignment with multiple parts.
    Task 1 – Implementation Plan
    For this assignment, you will use an AHRQ worksheet and tool that were created to be used in tandem. The purpose of the worksheet is to help you break down the scope of your project into manageable units of work whose outcome comprises a task or deliverable. The AHRQ Implementation Measurement tool will help you define a means of measurement within your plan.
    Download the Implementation Plan Worksheet.
    Complete the form by following the instructions that accompany the worksheet.
    Download the Implementation Measurements tool.
    Following the guidelines stipulated in the measurement tool, devise a means/tool for measuring the success of your project intervention.
    Each best practice that you have identified on the Implementation Plan Worksheet will also need to have a defined means of measuring its success.
    Briefly summarize what each best practice implementation consists of and how you will measure it.
    Note: For additional support, you might consider using the IHI Improvement Tracker, which has measures already set up on numerous topics. Or you can create your own custom measures. The Improvement Tracker automatically graphs your data and lets you create reports.
    Now that you have defined your project best practice tasks/deliverables, you will need to create a timetable for completing them.
    Create a Gantt chart for your project. Include best practice tasks/deliverables on the chart as well as all project activities from development to implementation and evaluation. There are numerous Gantt chart templates available for free online, including a free Gantt chart template from Vertex42.com that is easy to use.
    Task 2 – Cost-Benefit Analysis
    Read the selected articles on cost-benefit analysis from the University Library.
    Conduct a cost-benefit analysis for your project.
    Develop a budget for your project. The budget will vary depending on the nature of your project. Start with the individual tasks/deliverables that you identified in your implementation plan and break them down in terms of cost (labor, materials, facilities, services, and overhead are all costs). The sum of all tasks on your implementation plan constitutes the total budget of your project.
    Consider the potential benefits and savings that may result from your project implementation. There may be tangible and non-tangible benefits. Consider quality of life, reduced health care expenses, impact on population health and considerations of DEI, increased reimbursement, staff morale, institution liability, etc.
    Create a table with a corresponding explanation to depict your project budget, potential benefits, and savings to demonstrate a cost/benefit ratio analysis. See the example of how to do this on a table.
    Assignment Deliverable
    Your assignment deliverable will consist of the following components:
    Completed AHRQ Implementation Plan Worksheet
    Summary of each best practice and how it will be measured
    Tool developed for measuring the success of project intervention
    Gantt chart
    Table depicting the budget and demonstrating a cost/benefit ratio analysis

    A group of nursing students wanted to learn more about the health behaviors of adolescents in their community. They decided to have students at the local high school complete a questionnaire about their health behaviors. After the adolescents completed the questionnaire, the nursing students reviewed the responses and tallied the results. They discovered that over half of the adolescents who completed the questionnaire engaged in risky sexual behaviors. They reviewed the literature, which stated that sexually transmitted infection (STI) rates in this population are on the rise.
    The nursing students decided to educate the adolescents about safe sexual practices and the prevention of STI transmission. The overall goal of the program was to decrease the number of adolescents engaged in risky sexual behaviors. The nursing students developed the following objectives and teaching strategies for this educational program:
    To instill adolescents with an intrinsic motivation to become aware of their own risky sexual behavior through class discussions and cooperative learning exercises
    To promote safe sexual practices with the adolescents through demonstration of appropriate safe sex practices and inquiry-guided instruction
    To develop students’ positive sexual health behaviors through scenario-based case presentations and discussions
    Review the Healthy People 2030 Leading Health Indicators (LHIs). Identify the LHI that best matches STIs and transmission through risky sexual behaviors.
    Critique the objectives and teaching strategies used by the student nurses by responding to the following in a minimum of 175 words:
    How do the objectives and teaching strategies address the identified LHI?
    What action by the nursing students illustrates the planning phase of the health planning model? Refer to Figure 7.2 in Community Health Planning, Implementation, and Evaluation.
    Which system level is primarily being addressed through the educational program? Refer to Box 7-2 in Community Health Planning, Implementation, and Evaluation.
    What level of prevention is being applied by the educational program that the nursing students are providing? Refer to your textbook for levels of prevention.
